EA: NHL 23 & 24

I was thrilled to be brought on board for a contract to master speech for Electronic Arts’ stunning NHL games. This was a wonderful, challenging project where I was in charge of coming up with vocal chains for new talent, and mastering literally thousands of vocal samples to match seamlessly—often mid-sentence! Very cool.

Ottawa singer-songwriter Estelle Dechamps brought me a rough demo she cut with her bass player, and said she wanted to do something a little different with this—so I took it for a night out at the club! This one is a great before/after—check it out!

It’s an honour for me to work on Dr. Lisa Dawn Hamilton’s groundbreaking show “Do We Know Things”, where, twice monthly, she challenges our commonly-held beliefs about all things sexual! I record, mix, and score this wonderful podcast, plus handling branding and graphic/web design duties!

A spot that still can be seen on BC television, I composed original music and did the mix on this, including some challenges in cleaning up location audio in noisy workplace scenarios.

Immunex

This is one of my favourite projects for a large American biopharmaceutical company. I got to apply a more dramatic, cinematic soundtrack, using strings, synthesizers, and sound effects to evoke the gravity of the topic, while holding the viewer’s interest.
